2014 Acura RDX

Having been completely redesigned for the 2014 model year with a new engine, transmission and all-wheel drive system, the RDX has been ranked the highest in the Premium Compact Utility Vehicle segment by ALG's annual Residual Value Awards. For 2014, the RDX continues with the addition of a rich new Kona Coffee exterior paint, replacing the previous Amber Brownstone.

The 2014 RDX features a 273-horsepower 3.5-liter V-6 engine, a 6-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system (available as a $1,400 option). The RDX exterior incorporates an aerodynamically efficient body with Amplitude Reactive Dampers and a motion adaptive electronic power steering system.

Inside the 2014 RDX, occupants will appreciate an interior design with rich interior materials, utility and generous use of noise insulation. Standard features on the RDX include leather seating surfaces, heated power front seats, a power moonroof and a 360-watt audio system. Technologies such as Pandora internet radio interface, an SMS text messaging function, a Keyless Access System with push-button start, an Active Noise Control system and a Multi-Angle Rearview Camera system are also standard on all RDX models.

The 2014 RDX boasts a sleek and more aerodynamic body, evolving RDX from a sporty, compact SUV to a more formal SUV appearance with a longer, sculpted hood and styling that is more elegant and sophisticated to match the Acura philosophy of timeless, beautiful design.

Inside the 2014 RDX, sweeping shapes, matte surface trim, and generous use of leather combine to give the RDX interior an upscale look and luxury feel that Acura customers have come to expect. Additional interior features, such as larger door openings, more passenger room, increased cargo volume and an available power rear tailgate make the RDX interior accommodating and flexible.
